GARTH BROOKS ADDS THIRD SHOW IN SALT LAKE CITY FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 (MATINEE SHOW) AT THE DELTA CENTER, AFTER MORE THAN 100,000 FANS FLOODED THE QUEUE DURING TODAY’S ON SALE

THREE BACK-TO-BACK SHOWS IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

 

(September 18, 2026) — Garth Brooks would love to stay longer in Salt Lake City. Following overwhelming demand and an on sale disrupted by bot activity, Brooks has added a third show at the Delta Center on Sunday, October 11 (matinee show), joining the previously announced performances on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10.

The queues for both the Friday and Saturday shows surpassed 50,000 fans each, with more than 90% verified as human. The on sale initially launched smoothly, but just minutes later, the system indicated that all tickets had been claimed. Recognizing that the numbers did not add up, SeatGeek immediately began investigating and working to address the issue. The system remained operational throughout, and Brooks praised the Delta Center staff and SeatGeek’s team for handling the situation with care and professionalism.

Brooks shares:

“The whole goal of an on sale is to make sure anyone who wants a ticket gets one. I am so fortunate that anyone wants to come to the show. The great state of Utah has ALWAYS been the place for Garth Brooks to play. This just shows me how blessed I continue to be when I am around those people.

Again, all my gratitude for the people at SeatGeek and the Delta Center. They handled the situation extremely well. I look forward to not only playing the two shows that sold today, but would love to get the chance to play more shows in Salt Lake.”
