The transformation of the upper-north end zone is underway.

In our latest construction update, Lawrence Lippold, Senior Project Director at SCI Architects, breaks down the engineering and design behind the new upper-north end zone — a complete reimagining that will deliver 100% full sightlines for Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth games once construction on the bowl is complete.

The upper-north end zone presented a unique design challenge, so the team developed a vertical seating strategy that helps maximize sightlines in a tight bowl environment and create a better fan experience.

What’s happening now:

• Structural steel is nearly complete.
• New seating tiers are actively being installed.
• Three new terrace seating levels are taking shape.
• Additional venue enhancements, including a new club, expanded suite level, renovated upper concourse, and two suspended sideline gondolas, are coming together.
• Final seat installation and finishing touches are next.

The result will be a transformed upper bowl experience designed for every fan.
