Utah Mammoth to Host Nate Schmidt Look-Alike Contest on Saturday, April 18

Event offers fans a one-of-a-kind experience to celebrate and ignite  excitement ahead of Utah’s first Stanley Cup Playoff appearance

Top contestants to take home signed Mammoth jerseys, hockey sticks, and more, with the grand prize winner taking home two (2) Playoff tickets

SALT LAKE CITY (April 15, 2026) – On Saturday, April 18, the Utah Mammoth will host a look-alike contest and fans are invited to show up on the Delta Center plaza in their best Nate Schmidt-inspired looks for a chance to win exciting prizes and exclusive experiences, leading into the first-ever Utah Mammoth’s Stanley Cup Playoff berth.

The fan contest will take place on the two-year anniversary of the NHL awarding Utah a franchise and the first day of the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, helping Utah’s most die hard fans to celebrate the team’s playoff appearance in a unique way.

Participants will compete for a slate of exciting prizes, including signed Utah Mammoth jerseys, hockey sticks, pucks, and more. Plus one grand prize winner will be awarded two (2) lower bowl tickets to Utah’s first home playoff game at the Delta Center. To celebrate the occasion, the Team Store inside Delta Center will also offer a 15% discount on the latest Utah Mammoth merchandise on Saturday from 12-2 P.M., giving fans who attend the contest a chance to be among the first to purchase 2026 Stanley Cup Playoff gear.

Tusky will be joined by a panel of special guest judges, including Nate Schmidt’s wife, Allie, and Utah Mammoth studio host Kim Becker to evaluate contestants on creativity, commitment, and overall performance.

Fans interested in participating can arrive as early as 11 A.M. to register onsite but are strongly encouraged to register in advance here.
